so after craving chinese food for about a month......
just made chinese food. not ordered. made.
and it was oh so good…
ingredients:
chicken
brown rice
sauces & spices (honey, duck, soy, garlic, onions)
all together was about 300 calories and
compared to panda express’s rice (530) and orange chicken (420),
(aka, what i usually order plus more)
I WIN :)
tomorrow, i plan on giving this another go and striping the soy sauce...

not that anyone cares but...
instead of counting every single calorie i eat (which i’ve been doing since october) i’ve decided to focus on portion control.
reasons:
1) i find myself freaking out about eating and eating out too much because i feel like im going over, even when i’m not.
2) when i do let myself eat out, i tend to eat the whole plate instead of stopping when i’m full
